Pasadena ISD launched the Dual Language Program in the fall of 2004. The program offers the opportunity for native English speakers to learn Spanish and native Spanish speakers to learn English. Students in the Dual Language Program develop strong literacy skills in both English and Spanish.

Parents of students entering kindergarten in the fall need to apply in person at the school in order to participate in the program. Acceptance into the Dual Language Program is limited to space availability. Students will be required to take an oral language proficiency test. Prior to enrollment, parents are required to sign a Dual Language program commitment form. For information about students potentially entering the program after kindergarten, please call the Hancock office at 713-740-5430.
